Job Summary

SITEC provides support services as required for continuous operation of the Software Support Activity Software Production Facilities including complete lifecycle services for our customers platforms.

Must reside within 50 miles of Patuxent River, MD
Primary Responsibilities
-
Provide engineering support to an AWS GovCloud environment with a large user base in a cross functional team utilizing DevSecOps
-
Design, implement and manage highly available AWS infrastructure that meets business needs and technical requirements.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery and deployment of applications and services.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring using GitOps

Monitor and troubleshoot health and performance of AWS infrastructure, applications, and services.

Collaborate with developers, testers, and other customers to ensure successful integration and delivery of applications and services.

Support the planning and execution of the migration of services from on-premises infrastructure.

Support security hardening of the environment and systems using DoD Cyber policy guidance.

Plan and manage work with the larger engineering team using Agile methodology.

Maintain documentation to include knowledge base, incident response actions, system configurations, and other information related to system administration.
Basic Qualifications

PMA support, expertise with Government Systems, Software tools and processes such at Atlassian Suite, Agile/DevOps, OS (Windows/Linux).
- Experience in aircraft or weapon systems software/system engineering functions.
- Must have 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, weapons systems, mission systems, support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration, and system testing of computer hardware, software, and navigation, sensor, and communication subsystems.
Education Requirements
BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline.
Degree Required, neither an associate's degree nor additional years of experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

8570 Compliant with Approved Certifications from CompTIA such as A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+, CASP+
