Job Summary

The entry level recruiter will work closely with the members of the Lead Recruiter and the leadership team in support of company recruiting activities to include, guiding talent through the recruiting pipeline process, sourcing candidates, screening, review of applicants in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), conduct phone screens, support interviews, formatting resume templates, and submit applicants to technical positions using a variety of portals. Manage all aspects of recruiting under the direction of the lead recruiter, providing daily status, managing the ATS , and adhering to the existing SITEC recruiting process.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage communication related to the sourcing and screening of candidate's, making several outbound calls daily.
  • Source, review applicants, phone screen, and schedule applicants for technical interviews.
  • Support HR portion of candidate interviews.
  • Target applicants for positions using multiple sourcing approaches to include cold calling, referral programs, technical user groups, internal SharePoint database and other media/networking tools like Twitter, GitHub, etc. in addition to traditional approaches such as Clearance Jobs, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Work with Recruiting Lead, Program Managers, Security and Team Leads to get candidates through the program/customer interview process.
  • Match applicants to job openings/requirements and template resumes.
  • Update customer job openings in the ATS and close out jobs as they are filled.
  • Actively source/advertise for future job openings and manage candidate pipelines.
  • Arrange management interviews, coordinating schedules; setting up WebEx for Interviews as required, greet in-person interviewees.
  • Support the entire recruiting process and manage all documents per SITEC recruiting process.
  • Work with Security/PMO/HR as needed.
  • Manage and ensure candidate follow up and communication process.
  • Be proactive and provide management/HR information regarding candidates fit/ requirements/ assessment.
  • Maintain reports for Management.
  • Onsite work at SITEC is required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Professional, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic working relationships with Recruiters, Program Managers and Staffers.
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and perform well under time constraints and changing deadlines.
  • Very good organizational and time management skills as well as being self-motivated and able to work within a team.
  • Team-focused mindset; with the ability to work independently and productively.
  • Ability to work in a small-company environment and be accountable for recruiting tasks and statuses.
  • Positive attitude, integrity, and able to respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge and experience with technical jargon and federal agencies contracts and positions helpful.
  • Strong customer service acumen and follow up skills.
  • Flexible and able to learn new tools quickly.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite & SharePoint.
  • Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree desired
  • Minimum 1-3 year of prior recruiting experience, IT recruiting experience preferred. Strong inbound customer service call center or helpdesk experience can be considered.
  • Experience with full cycle recruitment; traditional sourcing or recruiting experience desired.

Desired Competencies

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • SharePoint
  • ApplicantPro or similar Applicant Tracking Systems or Databases
  • DoD Security Clearance helpful
