SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Payroll and Attendance Coordinator works to ensure the accurate and timely processing of the bi-weekly payroll for over 300 employees. Is responsible to maintain accurate files, making sure proper internal controls are followed and that Museum is following all applicable laws. Act's as a liaison to all departments to help resolve issues. Responsible for compiling and reporting various attendance reports and respond to inquiries. Provide support for budgeting, pricing and forecasting attendance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the processing of the bi-weekly payroll for over 300 employees which needs to be transmitted two days after the pay period end.
- Preparing wire and support for the two retirement plan contributions bi-weekly which should be sent no later than 5 days after the Museums pay date. Make sure all state and federal filings are processed on time, and various other reports as needed by each department.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

Interim Vice President of Finance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors of Science or Arts degree.
- 2 or more years of accounting payroll and or human resources experience and a working knowledge of spreadsheets experience.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Ability to be organized, work independently, and prioritize workflow.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with staff and external contacts to resolve any issues related to payroll.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting and payroll software.
STARTING SALARY:
Exempt (Salaried). $56,000-$61,000/year.
