Our EE Technician conducts debug operations on product and determines requirements to ensure full functionality, and learn new processes, procedures, functions, and best practices in an ever-changing environment. You will follow all applicable documentation, including mechanical drawings, work instructions and/or other supporting documentation. You will work with engineers in conducting experiments and modifying equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as instructed by predetermined processes. You will gain a mastery of Monnit's growing product lines of sensors, gateways and software and intelligently discuss the products through study of the Monnit webpage and other knowledge-based pages available to you. You will need to show the ability to collaborate with internal and external resources, teams, and projects.

Your job also consists of analyzing procedures that control manufacturing process to meet product specifications and quality requirements. You will conduct root cause analysis on failed components and recommend corrective actions. You will also test and evaluate products per test procedure instructions and use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices to perform job duties.

All members of the Engineering team will provide a detailed focus on execution, maintain professional standards of performance, demeanor, and judgment at all times as detailed in company policy and procedure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Monnit will provide on the job training for our products. Here is some of what is required:

• High School diploma; Associates Degree in a scientific/technical discipline a strong plus
• Minimum of 2 years of technical experience and have an aptitude for technical products
• Basic knowledge of electrical components.
• Proficient with MS Office Tools, NetSuite
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
