The Maintenance Director is responsible for basic electrical and plumbing repairs and maintenance. Conducts a variety of preventative and restorative maintenance duties. Follows established city and state building codes.

Duties:

Major job functions include: Managing the preventative and restorative maintenance including mechanical, electrical and plumbing repair; weekly checks of all roof top equipment; repair requests for assigned areas including repair of wheelchairs, beds, light fixtures, etc. In addition, the Maintenance Director is responsible for replacing ceiling tiles and electrical outlets as needed; reports and records information pertaining to preventative maintenance; keeps facility grounds clean and assists with snow removal; assists with setting up of special activities; upholds facility policies and procedures; and all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position we prefer two years of experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing repair. Must have valid KS driver's license. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must be able to work an on-call schedule and weekends. Must be able to perform physical job demands of position. Requires the ability to exercise confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
