Medgene is seeking to hire a Field Sales Representative for our rapidly growing business and product pipeline.
The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for sales of prescription and autogenous vaccines to swine and bovine veterinarians and producers in the midwestern United States. This role is responsible for developing a sales region by building customer contacts, developing awareness about Medgene products and services and, working closely with Medgene technical staff, develop health solutions for animals in our veterinarian customers' care. The Field Sales Representative will work closely with Medgene Customer Service to insure timely placement and delivery of customer orders. Interaction with customers at the customers' place of business will be the focus of this role and will require some overnight travel. There will also be opportunities to visit animal production sites with veterinarians and producers. The company is searching for a dedicated professional with strong interpersonal skills to manage customer accounts, acquire new customers and accelerate sales growth in a dynamic business environment.
- Develop and execute customer account and sales region plans.
- Calls on customers to advance and close sales.
- Organize customer meetings with Medgene technical and management staff as needed.
- Bachelors degree.
- Minimum of 2 years industry related sales experience.
- Proven team player with strong communication skills.
- Organized self-starter.
- Valid driver's license.
