A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PART-TIME TELLER

As a Teller at MCCU, you provide unsurpassed customer service while cheerfully greeting members and taking the time to really listen to their needs. As the first point of contact for members, you help them by processing transactions, solving problems, or educating them on our available products. You present yourself well, and our members can tell that you truly care about helping them create a plan to achieve their financial goals. You work to develop and nurture member relationships to help contribute to their financial success. Our members also appreciate your assistance with account validation, account inquiries, check reorders, investigating check clearings, and account reconciliation.

To efficiently process routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, transfers, and loan payments, you stay up to date on policies and procedures. Utilizing your product knowledge, you promote, educate, and cross-sell financial products and services to meet the current and future financial needs of our members. You are goal-oriented and always learning and improving. You are invested in the success of the credit union, as well as yourself, and you take advantage of the coaching and development MCCU offers its staff. You feel great about using your customer service skills to make a positive impact in your community.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TELLER

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in member/customer service and cash handling (preferred);
• Ability to perform basic clerical duties.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged and compensated accordingly.

WORK SCHEDULE

Our part-time Tellers work a variable Monday - Friday schedule and Saturdays from 8:30am - 1:00pm.
