Aerospace/Ground Service Equipment Mechanic:

Scope of work:

Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Management provides effective management, receipt, assignment, accountability, operation, transfer, inspection, and maintenance services for the base Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) fleet. Services include providing Periodic/Annual Inspections (Preventive), Service Inspections (Preventive), Unscheduled Maintenance/Repairs, and Scheduled Maintenance services for the government Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) fleet, using in-house, contract, and warranty services; maintaining maintenance records; providing analysis and reports using the appropriate Maintenance Database System (MDS) and providing materiel support through government and commercial vendors and agencies.

Requirements:

mechanics must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) maintenance services in diesel engines, turbine, and related Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) systems such as electrical, air conditioning, air delivery, and hydraulic systems.

*Mechanics are required to be certified IAW EPA (40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F) under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act
