A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SERVICE TRAINING MANAGER
As a Service Training Manager, you provide invaluable leadership as you manage the service training department. Keeping company objectives in mind, you ensure the strategic alignment of the training department with the service department. Your dedication, leadership ability, and extensive knowledge of heavy equipment contributes to the overall success of our training presentations and modules!
On a daily basis, you work with our service team members to find what the customer's needs are based on their troubleshooting out in the field. You manage the service training department and evaluate individual and organizational performance. By planning ahead, you are able to develop and deliver solutions that meet manufacturing needs. You ensure that our crews have the knowledge they need to complete projects and support the machinery.
Using your great organizational and management skills, you build and oversee multiple training programs at one time. You are determined to make sure that the needs of our service team are met. In this position, you take great pride in your work and enjoy coming to work every day!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SERVICE TRAINING MANAGER
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience working as a service trainer
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to read electric and hydraulic schematics
College or technical degree in heavy equipment, machinery, diesel engines, hydraulics, or electric is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. This management position is full-time. Domestic and international travel can be expected 20% of the time.
