A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOGISTICS & PURCHASING SPECIALIST

In this position, you support our technical teams by purchasing goods and services. You also inventory and stock certain critical spare parts and supplies, as well as keep track of property, shipping, and receiving. Your interpersonal skills allow you to develop productive working relationships and effective communication with internal customers across the Observatory and external vendors. To ensure a safe operation, you maintain and update required Safety Data Sheets (SDS) record keeping in coordination with the Environmental Health and Safety Officer (EHS). With you on our team, we run an efficient operation and our clients love doing business with us!


LOGISTICS & PURCHASING SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree, technical certification or other relevant experience
  • Purchasing skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
