A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GARDE MANGER / PANTRY CHEF

As a Garde Manger / Pantry Chef, you set up your pantry station in preparation for daily meal service. You prepare cold food and plate them as appetizers, salads, and desserts. Using your experience, you guide our culinary associates in presentation and technique. Your good attitude promotes cooperation, team spirit, and good morale among all employees in our restaurant. Eager to provide suggestions, you collaborate with our culinary team on seasonal menu development. Always ready to help, you support and assist our executive chef. You find great satisfaction in preparing beautifully plated dishes for our customers to enjoy!

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A GARDE MANGER / PANTRY CHEF

  • 2+ years of experience as a restaurant cook OR equivalent culinary experience
  • Passion for and knowledge about Italian cuisine
  • Extensive food knowledge
