Position Description

Practices the prescribed philosophy, purpose, standards and policies of Case Management and Jefferson Healthcare. Overall responsibility for the technical, clinical and administrative management of the units. Provides leadership and management to maintain, develop and enhance operational performance, quality of service and delivery of care for assigned areas of accountability. Promotes continuity of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met. Oversees the delivery of case management by the case management staff.

Education and/or Experience

• Current Washington state RN license in good standing
• Current BLS
• BSN preferred
• Two years of experience in case management/utilization review required
• Two years or more of House Supervisor experience required
• Leadership experience preferred
• Knowledgeable about appropriate practice acts including Nurse Practice Act, Health Care Assistant Act, etc., and regulatory agencies
