Title: Information Assurance Policy Analyst
Location: Reston, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and implement policies and guidelines across the enterprise
- Assess all IA/Cyber Security functional areas, architecture, and policy to identify discrepancies and create a documented functional assessment IAW DoD and IC standards
- Compose, record, and disseminate bulletins, advisories, and publications that have a direct impact on mission capabilities
- Create, review, modify, and oversee implementation of instructions and policies related to IA practices and procedures for networks, systems, and users
- Provide support for the management and maintenance of the centralized file/library for IA/Cyber Security files/documentation
- Produce and disseminate workforce alert and IA/Cyber Security news and tips as required by the Government
- Provide formal recommendations to achieve and maintain compliance with all applicable IA and Cyber Security regulations, directives and guidelines
- Provide maintenance for Web Page design, content, and security
- Provide subject matter expertise for review of IA and Cyber Security related technologies and documentation
- Provide support to ensuring IA/Cyber Security processes are up-to-date and maintained in accordance with applicable directives and authorities
- Review, update and/or prepare all relevant draft IA/Cyber Security SOPs for all functional area services for Government final approval
- Support IA working groups (e.g. DoD and IC Accreditation working groups
- Provide support to the Information Assurance Branch to develop/issue guidance, collect data, analyze data, and develop reports regarding compliance with FISMA requirements
- Provide support to the Information Assurance Branch to develop and provide trend analysis of IA/Cyber Security metrics that ascertains the security posture of client-managed networks
- Develop/design a mechanism to derive actionable results and determine readiness and awareness from "real-time" situational awareness
- Provide compliance gap analysis, management, oversight, compliance coordination, tasking and reporting of the OTA 8570 IA Workforce Improvement Management program IAW DoD
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Information Assurance training program that provides customer base training gap analysis, recurring online training to end-users throughout the enterprise, training metrics, cyber security frequently asked questions, workforce cyber security bulletins and ad hoc cyber security training
- Conduct routine gap analysis of DoD and IC policy, federal law, executive orders, and other administrative and congressionally directed issuances and artifacts and develop, review, and update all IA/Cyber Security policies, directives, and issuances
- Assess and provide analysis of ISCM related tools and practices to support implementation
- Develop, implement, and provide ongoing support for the ISCM report dashboard for senior leadership that provides detailed actionable information related to the near "real-time" state of ISCM
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
- Comfortable communicating both written and orally at a level sufficient for senior executive level leadership interaction
- The ability to review understand, and comprehend complex qualitative and quantitative IT and IA related metrics
- The capacity to research and comprehend complex regulatory and legal documentation
- Awareness and understanding of IC/DOD policy issuances such as instructions, manuals, memorandums, standards etc.
- Knowledge of Presidential Executive Orders and Congressionally directed reports, memos, and actions
- Awareness of federal laws pertaining to IT, Cyber Security, FISMA, and the IC
- Experience with MS SharePoint
- Must possess current DoD 8570 IAM II certification
- Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
