Ibero-American Action League is recruiting individuals (ages 18 and older) to participate in a 6-week, Latinx in Telecommunications training program. Resumes will be accepted through March 15th, 2023, for the next program cycle which begins on March 21, 2023.

Our program is sponsored for eligible participants by UNIDOSUS and Charter Communications (Spectrum). If eligible, participation includes enrollment in 6* weeks of interactive classes* (one day per week) focused on customer service skills, a better understanding of telecommunications, roles within Spectrum Charter, providing technical support, safety and security protocols, and interview preparation.

Classes will be held on Tuesday's from 4pm to 6pm.

The program also provides opportunities to network with representatives from local Spectrum locations, to fine-tune your resume, and to assist in applying for jobs with Spectrum Charter.

Upon acceptance of the program, students will receive a scholarship that provides them access to their own personal job coach, job training, resume building, and interview rehearsal. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be launched into customer service opportunities within the telecommunications sector​ and receive a $100 stipend.

-18+ years old

-Eligible to work in the U.S.

-English Fluency

-Computer and Tech Savvy

-High School Diploma or GED

-Commitment to 6 weeks of training and job placement services
