HPM Building Supply in Hilo, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Retail Specialist to save the day by ensuring that our customers get the products they need. This position is the first to respond when an order is placed and sets the tone for our customers' experience with us. We work with people who live and breathe building materials, so we need someone that is ready to be the hero they need!

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A RETAIL SPECIALIST
As a Retail Specialist, you assist our customers with their product needs. You promptly greet customers and answer any questions they have to help them make their purchases. Providing customer-focused service, you take orders, receive payment, and handle returns. At the beginning and end of each shift, you walk through your assigned area, tidying up, stocking empty bins, and writing off any damaged inventory.
You put the "zing" in amazing. You're a customer service superhero. When you wear your HPM uniform shirt, you know it's really a cape, and safety is your superpower. You go above and beyond to ensure that our customers have a great experience with us, and our warehouse operations run smoothly.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service and retail experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time and lift 50 lbs
Building materials knowledge is helpful, but not required. Are you a bird or a plane? No? Good, because that's not what we need! Do you have great problem-solving abilities?
