A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROPERTY MANAGER
HomeRiver is looking to Hire a full-time Property Manager to join our team. As our Institutional Accounts Group Property Manager (Resident Service Manager) you will be responsible for the customer service, customer satisfaction, and resident retention of the occupied homes in your assigned markets. You will work closely with the maintenance, renewals and collections teams, while striving to improve property performance. You will serve as an escalation point to advanced problem solving and customer service skills. Fortifying reputation, reducing turnover and improving collections are primary focuses for this role. You will perform the following tasks on a daily basis: Review renewal KPIs and trends to improve retention, work directly with the renewals team and residents. Work with the owner to determine renewal increases for the maximum revenue and retention. Review delinquent amounts and eviction timelines, take actions to improve collections and bad debt. Process resident move-out statements. Address all resident escalations and requests within current policies to limit concessions and improve satisfaction. Have a hands-on approach, working directly with residents to troubleshoot challenges. Work with the HOA and legal departments to ensure compliance
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROPERTY MANAGER
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- 2+ year(s) experience in Single or Multifamily property Management
- State Real Estate License or ability to obtain one within 120 days of employment required.
- Experience using modern property management software
- Intermediate experience using MS Office applications and G-Suite
- The candidate should be computer savvy and quickly adapt to new computer systems
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurability
