Responsible for conducting duties and tasks that have substantial variety and complexity within an area of technical specialty at a project level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Serves as a resource to others in resolution of complex problems and issues. Assistance troubleshooting and test systems. Assisting in the documentation of test systems .May provide training or give work direction to less experienced technicians. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May orient, train, assign, and check the work of lower level employees.
Education and Experience Required or Equivalent:
Technical certificate or 1-2 years of engineering coursework, with at least 8 years related work experience. Strong knowledge in Electro-mechanical products.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Extensive skills in area of electrical technician specialization. Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs. May create procedures.
