Children's Services Manager

Full Time

This manager is responsible for the programming, operation, and staffing of the Harbor House of Central Florida childcare facility and programs provided to the children residing at the emergency shelter. This position provides direct services to survivors and their children. Provides a holistic comprehensive program that includes advocacy and service management for shelter children.

Educational and/or equivalence in experience requirements: A Director Credential is required with at least two (2) years of supervising staff in a licensed childcare facility. An undergraduate degree in Early Childhood or a related field is preferred but not required. Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.

*Harbor House is willing to assist the right candidate in obtaining their Director's Credential, if all other criteria are met and a signed Educational Assistance Agreement will be implemented upon hire.

Other Job Requirements: Knowledge of basic personnel practices and procedures.

to identify program needs and implement programmatic changes; Ability to provide effective and immediate crisis intervention for clients including children. Valid Florida Driver's License and cover-able by agency insurance. Completion of CORE Competency training within 30 days of hire is required.
