Court Services Junior Advocate
Full-time Position
Harbor House is seeking a highly skilled professional to provide advocacy and program support essential to the mission of the organization and the day-to-day-operation of the Court Services Office. The Court Services Junior Advocate will greet all survivors entering the Harbor House Court Services office and provide initial paperwork. They will also manage the day-to-day operation of the office. They will refer survivors to Court advocates and work closely with other Harbor House departments.
Education and Training: AA degree is preferred. Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.
Other Job Requirements: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment. Intermediate computer skills and advanced computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher required. Knowledge of telephone protocol
Ability to prioritize tasks and use time and resources effectively. Ability to provide Valid Florida Driver's License and cover-able by agency insurance. Completion of CORE Competency training within 30 days of hire is required.
Experience: A minimum of 1-year social services or executive or legal assistant experience preferred.
