A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
As Staff Accountant II, you are responsible for accounts receivables, bank reconciliations and making purchases for all departments, placing orders and ensuring delivery. You have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where you thrive.
Using your attention to detail, you ensure accurate financial records are being kept to meet audit requirements. Our staff relies on your support regarding the collection of these reports to pass on to those that provide us with our funding. By performing general accounting duties required for the agency, you play an important part in ensuring that we can continue working to prevent and end domestic abuse and support those who are affected by it.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience handling a full range of accounting responsibilities preferred
- Knowledge of accounting procedures, and payroll processing
- Knowledge of trial balances, profit, and loss statements, and balance sheets
- Knowledge of Non-Profit fund accounting and QuickBooks accounting system experience a plus.
- Excellent computer and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to pass a drug test
The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
