Harbor House of Central Florida is Orange County's state certified Domestic Violence service provider. We offer a variety of services including a 24-hour crisis hotline, shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and community education.

Director of Development

Full-time

Harbor House is seeking a highly skilled professional to work with the CEO, Harbor House Board of Directors and Marketing/Grants manager to implement the Harbor House development plan. Responsible for all aspects of special events and supervises the development, and program staff. Cultivate and solicit in kind and monetary donors for special events and annual campaign. Oversee and ensure accuracy of the computerized donor management system.


Education and Training: Bachelor's degree in in Business field, Community or Public Relations preferred. Professional experience, on a year by year basis, may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.


Other Job Requirements: Ability to provide leadership in a work and community setting.


Experience: 3+ years' experience in Public Speaking. Experience with fundraising, special events and major donors. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
