Automation and Controls technician

Job Description

Experienced Electronic Technician with a strong background in complex equipment circuitry to troubleshoot, identify and repair electronic issues. Experience required is 2-4 years, but interested in intern opportunities for the right candidate.

Essential Functions

Diagnose, troubleshoot repair and install intricate electronics on production equipment

Use measuring and analytical test equipment to calibrate a variety of electrical systems and equipment

Maintain accurate and timely records

Assure calibration and equipment compliance as required

Provide instructions and training on use of newly installed or diagnosed equipment

Refer to and read electronic diagrams and schematics

Other duties as defined

Education

Associates electronics degree or equivalent

Required Skills

Experience with frequency drives

Experience with PLCs

Experience with Ethernet

Experience with low voltage communication systems

Other Skills

Ability to perform technical requirements

Ability to read, comprehend and apply written work instructions

Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Self motivated and one who takes initiative

Good verbal and written communication skills

Able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces

Able to consistently lift 50 pounds

Schedule:

• Day Shift, Monday to Friday occasionally Weekends if needed.
• 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Weekend Incentive

Pay

• 50k and above DOE
