Frank Beverage Group is now hiring for a Vice President, Sales & Marketing. The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for the sales strategy and planning, profitably growing sales of the business unit and oversight and direction of sales and marketing organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Reviews, monitors and evaluates the performance of the sales team and takes appropriate actions as needed when unsatisfactory trends occur; Manages sales departments including mid-level managers, sales representatives and merchandisers. Manages sales execution through managers and teams.
  2. Plans, develops and monitors the attainment of sales goals (distribution/revenue/profit)
  3. Plans and conducts sales meetings to review sales and marketing programs, product presentations and company policies and procedures
  4. Establishes, builds, and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, local community organizations, key legislators, and business improvement districts
  5. Coaches, trains, develops and motivates sales leaders and teams to achieve monthly priorities, quarterly revenue goals, distribution, and feature/promotion goals.
  6. Review monthly on- and off-premise priorities and objectives to identify opportunities, underperforming accounts or potential loss of sales within an account
  7. Oversees and directs all supplier relationships, brand marketing and sales objectives; collaborates with brand managers to create local brand programs
  8. Works with supplier representatives to establish and oversee the attainment of annual supplier goals
  9. Acts as an escalation point for suppliers. Meets and works with key suppliers to assist in meeting their sales and distribution expectations
  10. Provides consistent and regular communications to external and internal stakeholders including sales leaders, sales teams, suppliers, and other internal departments
  11. Establishes, negotiates and monitors supplier and internal budgets
  12. Collaborates with Business unit executives to develop and monitor annual forecasts and budgets
  13. Understands competitive landscape and products, competitive sets, go-to market strengths, pricing, and overall knowledge of the competitive environment and industry trends
  14. Addresses and resolves escalated customer complaints
  15. Designs sales compensation plans to achieve sales objectives and motivates sales teams to reach desired outcomes
  16. Authorizes purchase of point-of-sale materials to be utilized in merchandising programs
  17. Reviews, approves and monitors monthly product promotions including incentives and merchandising
  18. Oversees and monitors product pricing strategies to meet margin and profit requirements for new and existing brands
  19. Maintains expert-level knowledge of product portfolio and promotions

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree Marketing or Business Management or related field or relevant experience
  2. 10+ years of relevant sales experience preferred
  3. Exposure to on- and off-premise, chain and category management, and special event sales
  4. Five years of Sales Management experience preferred
  5. Industry professional certifications preferred
  6. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
  7. Ability to acquire and maintain necessary liquor salespersons permit

Physical Demands:

1. Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis
