ASSISTANT RETAIL STORE MANAGER

THE POSITION:

Are you a highly engaged leader with strong people skills and the ability to drive operations in our fast-paced environment? Do you lead by example and excel building a team culture of learning and empowerment?

As an Assistant Retail Store Manager, you will:

  • Provide world class customer service to all internal and external customers
  • Partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, co-ordinate schedules, and implement policies and procedures that maintain our culture
  • Train to master all aspects of the Goodwill donated retail goods process
  • Support the operations of the store by responding efficiently and accurately to customer service issues, cash handling, managing inventory, training new and current team members
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and moral
  • Ensure compliance of our Core Values and Guiding Principles
  • Manage good stewardship of donations and oversee budgeted expenses to revenue ratios and donor value

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years of customer service management or supervisory preferred
  • Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to 40 pounds with no support regularly


STARTING SALARY:

  • $40,000
  • 40-45 average weekly hours
