You will be working for a company rooted in the cooperative world, with history dating back to 1933, operating in the divisions of Agronomy, Energy, Animal Health and Farm Supplies. This position will be tasked with the following key objectives:

  • Collaborate with management team to develop strategies for achieving daily/weekly/monthly delivery goals and effectively communicate action plans to staff.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all petroleum related products. Manage training and development initiatives to increase staff expertise.
  • Provide specialized support and expertise to customers in person and via telephone. Seek information to understand the full scope of customers' projects and recommend product and service solutions.
  • Conduct inventory of all petroleum products, bulk plants, and warehousing. Place orders to maintain optimum quantities of products and supplies.
  • Assist with overseeing maintenance programs for equipment, including motorized vehicles. Maintain ability to effectively operate all facility equipment.

Some positions will have the following work environment qualities:

  • The work environment will vary based on location. Essential job functions are primarily performed indoors in a climate controlled environment, however they may also be performed in a warehouse environment that is subject to seasonal temperatures and humidity, and outdoors unprotected from weather conditions.

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

  • At least 5 years of working experience in petroleum, propane, refined fuels, lubricants, or energy related field/industry
  • Hands-on leadership experience, preferred in a position with direct reports
  • A high school diploma/GED is required, and any further education related to the agricultural industry is a plus!
  • A valid Driver's License
  • A passion and enthusiasm to work with our cooperative customers to help improve and overcome any challenges related to their needs
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • A knack for relationship building and problem-solving
  • A desire to learn, grow and work as a cross-functional team member with other divisions within EverGRO
  • Certifications/Licenses required; willing to train throughout career to obtain, if not already completed
