A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RENEWABLE ENERGY SALES MANAGER
As a Renewable Energy Sales Manager, you are critical to the success of our company. You enjoy the art of selling and are eager to take on a hybrid role consisting of both selling and leadership. Using your sales savviness, you actively learn our processes and apply them as you consult with homeowners on their HVAC, roofing, insulation, or solar needs. You introduce our potential clients to green equipment that qualifies for local and federal incentives. Providing them with the best customer service is important to you. You also learn company operations - in particular the onboarding process for team members. You actively hire, train, and manage your sales team within your territory. Using your mentoring skills, you coach individual employees and the entire team to achieve their maximum potential. You set daily and weekly goals with each team member and provide accountability. Your team generally consists of 3 - 5 associates.
Although you do not personally install roofing, insulation, or HVAC systems, you are
knowledgeable about each. You keep updated on regulations, policies, and procedures so that
you can speak to clients and team members with confidence. At the end of each day, you
leave satisfied with and proud of the difference you've made for your team and for the
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Consultative and in-home selling experience
- Ability to use and manage customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Access to reliable transportation
- 18 years of age or older
- Do you possess strong leadership skills and the ability to generate enthusiasm among team
- Can you work with confidence in a fast-paced setting?

This Full-Time position typically works Monday - Friday. We offer a flexible schedule with ideal
working hours between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm.
