Oasis Child and Family Services is looking to hire full/part-time Mental Health Practitioners to provide Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) and Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI). Practitioners will provide mental health skills services as outlined in the client's treatment plan at home, school, or community.

Job Duties:

Practitioners need to bill 40 hours a week to be quality for full-time and 20 hours for part-time.

· Provide skills training to children and adolescents in school, home, or community.

· Complete progress notes and treatment planning as required.

· Participate in regular staff/team meetings.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Be able to accommodate flexible working hours.

· Must be able to work independently.

· Mandated to report suspected child abuse or neglect and knowledge Vulnerable Adults.

· Handle crisis situations and follow-through of supervisor's directives

· Provide clinical interventions under the supervision of a mental health professional

· Develop a recovery goal, rehab goal, and objective with the client

· Ability to provide culturally sensitive services.

Job Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.

· Masters or other graduate degrees in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.

· Completed 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness. (If you don't have the degree)

· 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services working with adults or children (with the degree)

· Ability to work with diverse populations.

· Be knowledgeable about child development.

· Have proficiency using Procentive Electronic Health Records for client documentation.

Community base requirements:

· Must have a valid Driver's License

Must have reliable transportation

· Must have current auto insurance.

· Must be willing to travel within the Twin Cities metro area.

Additional information:

Preferred candidates will possess knowledge of child development and emotional disorders of children and adolescents, as well as family systems. Ability to gather information, assess, and plan for client needs. English proficiency required. Familiarity with community resources is desirable. Strong preference is given to individuals who are bilingual, or culturally linguistic.
