A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECTOR OF ASSET MANAGEMENT
As a Director of Asset Management, you are a numbers person. As such, you come to work ready to ensure that the numbers for our Development and Property Management division add up to success. Your daily duties vary. Sometimes, you gather information from past and present financials, analyze the trends and forecast ways we can reduce expenses or increase revenue. Other times, you study the real estate market, keeping an eye out for opportunities that will help us grow, and manage leasing and marketing for the rental portfolios. You develop an investment strategy and spend time creating relationships and contacts that will help us reach our goals. Your job calls upon all your experience in finance and accounting and challenges you in exciting ways. You take pride in seeing our construction company thrive because you know you play a big role in making it happen!
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or in another related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge about the real estate industry would be preferred. Are you detail-oriented and analytically minded? Can you communicate financial and accounting details in a clear and concise manner?
