PROJECT MANAGER (Utilities) Denver, CO

Dibble is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our Utilities Team in our Denver office.


SUMMARY

This role of Project Manager is responsible for delivering engineering projects in the planning, design, and construction of new or trenchless rehabilitation of existing potable water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure. Expectations are pursuing and winning work and managing project teams involved in delivering professionally sealed construction documents, including overseeing and controlling project performance, providing direction and guidance to engineers and technicians on project team, ensuring quality control on project document deliverables, along with developing and maintaining strong client relationships. This is an opportunity to lead and manage our water, wastewater and reclaimed water engineering effort in Colorado and to grow a team to support our success. This position is a leadership role with growth potential in a dynamic, successful engineering company.



ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain existing and build new client relationships.
  • Participate in the pursuit and winning of new business.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.
  • Actively participate in mentoring and career development of staff.
  • Prepare project invoices and follow up with clients to ensure timely receipt of payment.
  • Represent the Firm at industry events and professional conferences.
  • Provide leadership and management of project teams.
  • Oversee and professionally seal project design drawings, technical specifications, and opinions of probable construction costs.
  • Consistently meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Preferred 7-10 years of experience related to design and construction oversight of new and existing utility infrastructure projects.
  • Professional Engineering license for the State of Colorado (or the ability to obtain a Colorado PE license) within 3 months.
  • Current GIS planning, scheduling, and design software preferred with proficiency in Microsoft Office a necessity.
  • Certification by the National Association of Sewer Services Companies (NASSCO) in PACP and MACP a plus.
  • Strong people skills; promote a positive teamwork environment.
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to successfully lead a motivated team in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills and self-directed.
  • Must be an effective communicator.



LOCATION: This opportunity is in our Denver, Colorado office location


COMPENSATION: Annual Base Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000 DOE. The expected salary range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation is based on the successful candidate's individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and consideration to participate in our discretionary annual bonus incentive program.
