A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
In this position, you play a vital role in our nonprofit as you work alongside a team of branding, marketing, and communication experts to advance the Chamber's brand. No two days will be alike as you work on a variety of projects including; branding for in-house initiatives, production design for live events, print layout for marketing materials and print publications, and digital graphics to support the website, email marketing and social media. You are open to constructive criticism, and to use it towards your ongoing development. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
- BFA degree in graphic design, preferred, but not required
- 3-5 years of graphic design experience
- A strong portfolio with professional work
- Ability to understand and balance the needs of the client while protecting the Detroit Regional Chamber's style and standards
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience with Microsoft presentation tools (PowerPoint)

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
This position is full-time and typically works Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. As you attend Chamber events, on occasion you will travel throughout Southeastern Michigan. There are also opportunities to work from home.
