Derstine's and EZ3PL combined to offer a wide array of solutions to many customers and program partners.

We are actively interviewing for great customer service opportunities. Work with your office, sales and warehouse team members to provide personalized service to Derstine's current and potential customers over the phone, online and in person (*with social distancing and proper PPE).

Schedules: Monday through Friday, 6:45am-3:30pm and 9:30am-5:30pm (possible part-time schedules considered)

Position Summary:

  • Provide coverage and support for phone calls and Derstine's front customer pick-up window.  Respond to and resolve inquiries and questions from customers and Derstine's employees regarding Derstine's full line of products and orders.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage for front customer pick-up window and phones
  • Communicate and work with internal departments and individuals, including Sales, Finance and Warehouse & Transportation
  • Create new customers in SAP
  • Create and release outbound deliveries
  • Create and print customer invoices
  • Create sales return orders
  • Create shipments for special/late deliveries
  • Provide support for A/R Department
  • Schedule warehouse Inbounds and Out bounds
  • Document and respond to customer complaints
  • Inform customers of product promos and specials
  • Manage and balance cash box
  • Create and edit new and existing material codes
  • open deliveries greater than 3 weeks old
  • Assist with returns
  • Update/edit prices for specific customers weekly and monthly
  • Create/update/send Order Guides for specific customers

  Position Requirements:

  • High School/GED required, advanced education or training preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of food service and food service distribution preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of Computers/Microsoft Office Suite 365 and TEAMS
  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP business software strongly preferred
