Position Description


After our Solar PV panels are installed, they must undergo operations and maintenance (O&M) to function properly and meet energy production targets over the lifecycle of the system, extending its life and ensuring quality. Unique to other companies in the Solar Industry, Creative Solar has identified Service as a key component of an Operations and Maintenance division and have broadened this field from just Operations and Maintenance to Operations, Maintenance, and Service.


Creative Solar USA has a dedicated team to facilitate this process. The O&M Service Manager will manage all construction project safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, Service Agreements, field supervision, suppliers, and estimates for their team and projects related to their team. This includes planning and tracking progress on active projects (including financial performance). The role requires the ability to manage multiple project portfolios and to travel periodically to meet with clients and inspect milestones at job sites.


Service is our top-most priority and we are looking for someone who has a history of practical onsite experience, technical expertise, and customer satisfaction to fulfill this role.

Responsibilities


Some of the key responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):


•Handling all inquiries after install service is commissioned by Operations in order to guarantee customer satisfaction, including monitoring equipment failure/under-performance, de-rack and re-rack of solar installations, and other issues that might arise
•Problem-Solving and troubleshooting for issues onsite with technicians, or escalated by team (including customer facilitation for common DIY fixes related to systems that might not require an onsite repair or procedure, via email or phone)
•Manage a growing team of Technicians and professionals, including scheduling, day-to-day issues, and delegation of complex situations to tier 2 expertise.
•Assist with selling and maintaining of Commercial O&M-S contracts
•Fee determination and proposal preparation, ensuring appropriate costing for all O&M-S projects
•Assist with monitoring design budgets and project schedules, including cost analysis.
•Create and maintain all necessary documentation for completion of services on Company CRM platform, including invoices, service visit forms, leads, etc.
•Process all returns to secure replacement units as needed
•Assist with surveys as needed
•Maintain key communication across departments for all activities and duties to ensure smooth transitions of workflow
•Support growth with existing sectors and develop and expand the O&M-Service Market throughout Georgia and the Southeastern United States
•Maintain positive relationships with all Creative Solar USA personnel, design team, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, utility companies, and all applicable municipal representatives.
•Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions, mentoring others while on-site and in the office, and assist to rectify any job site hazards immediately.


Required Skills:


•In-depth knowledge of PV Solar Installation systems, requirements, and safety measures
•Experience developing and implementing a pricing strategy
•Intermediate Microsoft Office (or Google Equivalent) proficiency, including: excel, word, outlook, and powerpoint
•Effective communication, de-escalation, and escalation skills
•Management skills, including coaching and mentoring
•Scheduling, invoicing, and budgeting capabilities
•Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot, and communicate solutions to customers and employees effectively and efficiently


Education Requirements


•3-5+ Years Solar Installation Experience
•2+ years On-Site construction site experience
•2+ Years Management or supervisory experience
•OSHA-10 & OSHA-30 (or willingness to obtain and maintain safety knowledge certificates)
•Preferred: A bachelor's degree in Construction Management (or related field)
•Driver's License required


Physical Requirements


•Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
•Must be comfortable working on a roof at height while following appropriate safety precautions
•Must be able to drive a company vehicle for long distances of time
•Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time
