The Senior Project Manager is an integral part of the External Relations & Engagement (ERE) department at Corus International. This position serves as the primary project manager for all External Relations and Engagement activities with a specific focus on fundraising to individuals and congregations. This position leads the development of donor personas, donor journeys and is the architect of the project work plans that leverage the creative, strategic and technical resources of Corus International. These initiatives all eminate from the Corus International fundraising strategy to double fundraising revenue between 2020 and 2025.
Key Result Areas:
The success of this role is measured by the following KRAs:
- Launch and complete all fundraising projects by goal dates.
- Designs project management and work plans for:
- Direct Mail and Digital Campaigns
- Monthly Giving Program
- Legacy Program
- Mid-Level Giving Program
- Major Donor Program
- Congregational Giving Program
- In Kind Donation Program
- Facilitate the development of the fundraising annual plan, content calendar and work plans with clear lines of accountabilities.
- Train ERE Team Members to effectively utilize project management tools.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the ERE team in the development and refinement of donor personas that inform the development of donor journeys, donor recruitment, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Lead Project Owners in the development of project work plans and timelines.
- Serve as the TeamGantt system administrator and trainer for ERE.
- Convene and lead creative implementation and multi-channel meetings including the develop of agendas that ensure an efficient and productive process.
- Support leadership in the development of the annual fundraising strategy and lead project owners in the development of tactic that achieve fundraising goals.
- Serve as a liaison with Corus International vendors
- Coordinates and collaborates with the Marketing and Communications team to develop work plans that deliver creative assets by project deadlines.
- Maintain and conduct quality control for Corus' project management systems.
- Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks that threaten timely delivery of fundraising projects.
- Verify the goal, key message, and creative needs of each project.
- Collaborate with the AVP to ensure all fundraising projects align with fundraising strategy and goals.
- Initiate and facilitate internal processes with a keen eye toward identifying strategic gaps and optimization of workflows.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or Related Field
Certificate in Project Management (helpful but not required)
- At least 7 years' experience in similar role.
- Proven ability to lead and organize teams.
- Experience is organizing teams with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to distill and interpret complex program information
- Keen attention to detail.
- Excellent people skills
- Experience managing teams and work projects virtually across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Proficiency in standard computer software (Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management Software).
- Experience and proficiency in Team Gantt or similar project management platforms.
- Proven ability to learn new software and systems.

Working Conditions, Travel and Environment
This position is located in one of Corus International's Headquarters offices (Baltimore, Washington D.C. or St. Paul). Domestic travel for team meetings and collaboration is required. Limited international travel.
