SUMMARY OF POSITION

Maintain the corporate records, financial accounts, and donor databases for the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation. Provide administrative support for the Executive Director, Development Director, Program Director, Impact Manager, and Trustees of the Foundation. Manage the daily administration of Foundation activities. Assist with planning internal events throughout the year including all board meetings and planning sessions, special events, Financial Wellness Task Force and Ambassador Meetings.

Essential Functions

Maintains all corporate files and records for the Foundation including, but not limited to, general correspondence, board mailings, minutes of board meetings, financial reports, donor databases, annual recognition, and accounts payable.
Provides administrative support needed during the grants process, including Southwest CUNA Management School scholarships.
Manages the daily administration of ordering and maintaining office supplies. Corresponds with building personnel regarding facility issues.
Responsible for all accounts payable items and Trustee expense reports.
Works under the supervision of the Executive Director to assist the Foundation team with the implementation of various Foundation activities and programs to achieve the corporate goals of the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation, Cornerstone Credit Union League, and Cornerstone Resources.
Attends meetings, records meeting details, and prepares corporate minutes for various board and committee meetings.
Assists with the planning, preparation, and execution of events for the Foundation. Coordinates all meals, hotel details, AV needs, and transportation for Board Meetings, the Planning Session, Conferences, financial capability trainings, lunch and learns, and special events as they may arise throughout the year. Serves as central contact for all Foundation events.
Assists the Program Director with any needed scheduling, communications, pre and/or post duties related to financial wellness activities such as Reality Fairs, FiCEP Certifications, Retirement Experiences, Life Simulations, etc.
Coordinates with Plexcity on all funds received. Maintains current, accurate records for audits, board reports, and recognition of donors throughout the year. Coordinates correspondence with contributors including timely thank you letters.
Works with Impact Manager to recognize donors and partners throughout the year, including signage at Cornerstone League events, thank you letters, and donor lists for impact report and website.
Assists with special projects as needed.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

Required travel by plane or auto up to 15% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:	These abilities are normally acquired through completion of a high school education plus specialized courses beyond high school in computer applications and accounting.
Required Knowledge:	Knowledge of accounting principles, advanced MS Office application skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), intermediate math skills, (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.), office procedures, meeting planning, and fundraising experience. An acute knowledge of social networking channels is required.
Experience Required:	Four years of administrative, accounting, or similarly related experience is required. Additional experience with non-profit organizations, marketing, website maintenance, meeting planning and fundraising preferred.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

Work requires sitting for most of the day. Works also requires frequently lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds, when retrieving materials, shipping program materials, and transporting goods. These activities also require frequent reaching and occasional bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and kneeling.

WORKING CONDITIONS

No hazardous or significant unpleasant condition (such as in a typical office).

MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

Reasoning Ability:	Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry our detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables.
Mathematics Ability:	Ability to perform very basic math skills including subtracting, multiplying and dividing two-digit numbers; the four basic arithmetic operations with money.
Language Ability:	Ability to write complex sentences, using proper punctuation, adjectives, and adverbs. Ability to prepare business letters, and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style. Ability to communicate in complex sentences, using normal word order with present and past tenses; using a good vocabulary.
