Founded in 2002 by attorney Rebecca Askew, Circuit Media provides design and communications services to government and commercial clients. From in-house products like Law Week Colorado and State Bill Colorado to creative and technical services in graphic design, communications, staffing and logistics, Circuit Media is your Communications Compass while navigating a rapidly changing environment.
Through plain language communications and creative and clean design, we help government entities communicate their message in a clear and transparent way.
Contracts: Circuit Media's contracts team performs business development for the company, writes proposals and responses to government solicitations, manages and performs on government contracts, and supports government contracting initiatives by researching government agencies and contracting opportunities.
Design: Circuit Media has a full-service creative and marketing studio with expertise in the Legal and Energy markets. The creative team provides clients innovative problem solving, compelling content and design creation, and a customized approach to taking ideas from vision to execution.
Editorial: The editorial team writes and produces content for Law Week Colorado, Circuit Media's digital legal publication. A few of the day-to-day duties include researching and covering the latest developments in Colorado law, courts and the legal business community; interviewing and cultivating sources within law firms, local government and legal non-profits; monitoring assigned beats and contributing feature section articles based on the editorial calendar. Other projects and tasks can include posting to Law Week's website and social media accounts, monitoring web activity and analytics, putting together Law Week's daily email newsletter and helping with podcast and video production.
Communications: The Communications team assists the public information (PI) team by assembling and contacting lists of affected stakeholders for projects and developing public information plans as well as calculating bid amounts for potential projects, write bid letters and send bids to contractors. The Communications team also performs background duties on PI projects, including writing press releases and developing flyer content. Additionally, the Communications team conducts research to help the team create a strategy for further business development.
Accessibility: Circuit Media's Accessibility Department would provide the ability to understand and learn about Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards and compliance, Section 508 standards, document remediation, compliance testing, basic assistive technology function and purpose, accessibility trends, technologies, and policy, as well as working with members of the Accessibility team to incorporate accessibility into the company's processes and products, and perform outreach to organizations that serve people with disabilities.
EDUCATION: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student or recent graduate.
COMPLEXITY/RESPONSIBILITY: Interns are responsible for projects and tasks as assigned.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION: This position is a paid internship ($15.00 to $17.00 per hour), but does not offer a benefit package.
