A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LITTLE PROMISES PRESCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR
As a Little Promises Preschool Administrator, you play a vital role in our early childhood education program. With you at the helm of our school administration, we are able to meet the unique needs of the families we serve. Each day, you come to work ready to inspire your team and build a great program. Your main duty is to ensure that the daily operations of the preschool run smoothly, so you tackle a variety of tasks to help you achieve that aim, including record-keeping, staffing, training, maintaining compliance, and more.
Working closely with the staff, you plan schedules, evaluate their performance, and develop plans for improvement that will ensure the kind of quality teaching we strive for. You assist with the implementation of the curriculum, coaching the teachers and interpreting standards so that everyone is on the same page. Maintaining clear lines of communication with the parents is another of your top priorities, and you have a goal to resolve concerns even before they arise. Your most delightful duty of the day is interacting with the children, sparking curiosity in their bright minds and helping them discover new things.
You also serve as an important link between our preschool and the community, where you promote a positive image in your outreach opportunities and invite families and their children to enroll. As they grow, children move on to other programs within our center, and you work closely with the director of programming to ensure seamless transitions. Watching them move up is bittersweet because you come to care for each child. But you are thrilled to know that you're helping them establish a strong foundation they will build on for years to come!
