WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU AS A AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM TEACHING ASSISTANT
In this part-time early child development position, we rely on you to provide a positive and caring presence for our K-8th grade children in our care. Further, you provide support and coordinate with the lead teacher to implement the educational curriculum, and make sure our activities align with established standards.
In addition to keeping our day-to-day educational operations flowing smoothly, you make it your mission to connect with each child that is in your care. Each child has his/her own individual cultural, linguistic, and familial values, and you work hard to ensure their daily routines and interactions effectively meet their individual needs. Lastly, you desire for families to feel confident and comfortable with leaving their children in our care, so you foster strong relationships with families by keeping open lines of communication.
