Summary: We are seeking specialized workers to join our team as a Carpenter. As a part of our team, you will read blueprint and drawings, take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed. You will cut and shape lumber per specifications, build walls, and roofs, and other duties as required as we build quality manufactured housing for our customer base.
Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
- Build window frames, doors frames, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Lay out floorings, roofing, or drywall ensuring they are leveled and compatible
- Inspect structures and conduct repairs or maintenance
- Precision measuring and cutting to create a seamless finished appearance
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 years' experience
