Dynamic Opportunity~ As a full-time employee, working 40 hour per week, a Residence Coordinator assists in the management of daily operations of four A+ Group Homes, provides supervision and education to staff and assists in ensuring the program operation align with agency mission and regulatory guidance.

The Guidance Center~ is a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. For more than 50 years, our non-profit organization of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.

What does this position look like~ A Residential Coordinator is responsible for participation in clinical reviews, recovery planning and other regulatory guided documentation. The Residence Coordinator plays an integral role in ensuring program operation within regulatory compliance, participates in quality improvement monitoring, staff training, risk, and safety management. The Residence Coordinator participates in on call coverage responsibilities as needed.

Is available for emergency situations and filling in at residences on an as needed basis. Advocates for residents. Collaborates with resident's and other treatment providers. Develops activities that support community integration. Develops treatment interventions that assist with recovery goals.

What you need to apply~

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field
• Supervisory experience
• Residential experience preferred
• Knowledge of community resources and agencies
• Valid automobile driver's license with MVR which meets agency standards.
