The AWS Implementation Services role provides engineering expertise for the team through the provisioning of VDIs using Terraform. Working with the burst and persistent teams and the Product Owner, they will track and assist the team with installation, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Amazon Workspaces and AppStream. They will coordinate with vendors, engineers, and project managers to ensure technical processes flows are developed and vetted for recurring processes related to the Amazon Workspaces VDI and AppStream.

Accountability:

• Design and build environments on AWS
• Provision VDIs on Amazon Workspaces
• Write Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Work with end users to troubleshoot issues
• Provide AWS-related technical knoweldge for Accenture, vendor, and client teams

Key Actions:

• Experience designing and building environments on AWS
• Background in Linux/Unix and Windows server system administration
• Experience using Azure DevOps for automation, with integration to ServiceNow
• Experience using and implementing monitoring solutions like CloudWatch
• An understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Knowledge of one or more of the programming languages (i.e., SQL data, Python procedural, etc.)
• Experience in troubleshooting and ability to troubleshoot issues when they arise
• Proficiency in script development and scripting languages
• Willingness to be a team player and work in Agile methodology
• The ability and skill to train other people in procedural and technical topics (host KT sessions)

• Experience/familiarity with AWS
• Strong communication skills

• Experience working with Amazon Workspaces or Amazon AppStream a plus
