The Mobile/VDI Scrum Master provides specialized organizational and Agile services in the management, coordination, scheduling, and delivery of end user devices within the digital workspace project. They will lead daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to ensure team and organizational alignment and the implementation of Agile methodology. The scrum master will be responsible for Agile adoption amongst the digital workspace workstream. Working with the product owner, the scrum master will work to ensure the application of Agile principles, general understanding of Agile methodology, and team coordination.

Accountability:

  • Leads implementation of Agile principles including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other processes
  • Responsible for guiding coordination and communication within the mobile team and alignment with the functioning of other workstreams
  • Maintains Agile delivery software such as Kanban boards, sprint planning software, and other group planning/coordination applications
  • Assists the mobile product owner in agile delivery methods
  • Provides a variety of project management services to ensure project success
  • Formalizes team roles, onboarding, offboarding, and general coordination

Key Actions:

  • Demos and attends stand-up meetings for the groups within the mobile team
  • Assists in value stream review and planning at workstream and individual level to ensure consistency of action with Agile principles
  • Develops team procedure and role documentation
  • Advocates for necessary resources for workstream
  • Transitions new members onto and existing members off the agile team
  • Communicates across all stakeholders, team members, VR Team, and client engineers to drive project progress
