The Application Analyst provides specialized organizational and IT services in supporting the application packaging process and the App Lead. The application analyst will assist with application packaging prerequisites to fill the backlog for processing. This will include potential outreach to end user, sourcing technical files and materials, and validation of system and user information. The application analyst will be responsible for relaying issues to the App lead, working with vendor counterparts to ensure appropriate packaging times, and individual follow-up on blocked items.

Accountability:

  • Maintaining ongoing backlog of applications to be packaged
  • End user communication for file and application validation
  • Maintaining application status availability within the deployment model
  • Assisting with project deliverables and status reports/presentations
  • Coordination with vendor to escalate applications
  • Managing user expectations and application packaging SLA's

Key Actions:

  • Attending weekly application packaging status meetings with vendors and project team
  • Assists with preparation for leadership meetings and materials
  • Attends daily stand-ups of digital workspace team to provide sprint item updates
  • Participates in issue resolution retrospectives and post-mortems for application packaging when relevant
  • Maintains application source and packaging readiness check for application backlog
  • Prepares application packaging process documentation and maintains workflow standards
  • Manages application backlog to ensure progression and alignment to deployment roadmap
