The Program Manager position will supervise personnel and labor to support Ames Research Center (ARC) and Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) activities by providing high quality administrative and technical support services to assist ARC and AFRC to fulfill their missions. The current position will be to assist with proposal for this project. Upon award of the contract the Program Manager shall create and manage the program as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform management of the following functions:
    • Technical Publication Office (TPO) Services
    • Research library Services
    • Reproduction Center Services
    • Office of Strategic Communications
    • Internal Controls and Management Systems (ICMS)
    • Administrative Support Services
    • Archiving Support Services
    • Provide onsite management and oversight and be available for discussion with the Government representatives during normal working hours.
  • Comply with all applicable Government regulations in addition to ARC and AFRC policies, procedures, and regulations.

Minimum Job Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least ten (10) years in a supervisory capacity.
  • A minimum of 6 years in management of multiple functional areas with diverse missions required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all levels of background, security, and clearances required to perform duties of this position.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office software.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and assess a vast amount of highly technical information in a time constrained environment.
  • Maintain all required personal certifications and qualifications related to this role.
  • Be able to understand, read, write, speak, and conduct business in the English language.

  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
