POSITION OVERALL DESCRIPTION

Cayuse is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support data analytics and report on project progress. In this role, you will support operations and administrative tasks as part of the customer facing component of our company. Tasks will involve working with our technical lead to develop reporting and technical responses at the State Department, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Chief Technology Office to identify opportunities for improved project execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with a team of technical leads who collect data on a Network Engineering project to document their work, monitor their tasks, and manage outcomes of this project - especially preparing project communication.
  • Work with Senior Project Managers and the Program Manager to monitor project status, identify risks/issues and suggest solutions
  • Work with our customers to determine, evaluate and prioritize their requirements
  • Act as a liaison between our customers, other contractors and other stakeholders
  • Work with Dedicated Internet Networks (DINs) and should have experience with network-related projects
  • Complete Telecommunication Service Requests (TSRs) for networking circuits and should have experience completing technical documents. Role will include the frequent creation, editing, and submission of TSRs.
  • Complete frequent requests for procurement and should have familiarity with government procurement processes
  • Manage the submission of technical documents as part of a very large scale effort. This will include both the submission of the documents as well as the estimation, planning, and reporting on those submissions. Role will require the ability to troubleshoot issues so that individual requests are completed by external resources following the schedule developed by the Jr PM.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree related to business or management, engineering, or computer science
  • Five or more years' experience supporting Diplomatic Security / Chief Technology Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented individual who can both manage and submit technical documents and requests for both a planned schedule and an urgent/dynamic environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting new and unknown situations a major plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Minimum Active Secret security clearance

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite 2016 (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
