ActioNet is looking for a Facilities and Senior System Engineer with the responsibility of providing Information Technology connectivity support to all the Department of State facilities within the National Capital Region. This is on a contract based out of Rosslyn, VA support the DOS/DS/CTO and is a very stable and long term contract.
Primary responsibilities are to coordinate the cabling infrastructure and installation of Information Technology Networks, Servers, Crypto equipment, Desktops, and Application Systems for newly constructed facilities. As the lead for the Diplomatic Security (DS), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), System Integration Branch (SIB), Space Management Representative for all locations within the National Capital Region, with the responsibility for overseeing all construction by the GSA/Contractor of information technology infrastructure from concept through the turnover to the DS Client. This responsibility also includes:
- * onsite coordination with Telecommunications ;
- * Wireless and Data Services (TWD) and * Desk Top Support (DSD) ;
- * Facilitate the physical moves of the new spaces ensuring that all sites are operational upon substantial completion.
