Cayuse Native Hawaiian Veterans (CNHV) provides innovative and flexible solutions to federal government clients, emphasizing excellence in the Asia-Pacific region. Shall be under the supervision of the Senior Marine Mechanic/Engineer. The Junior Marine Mechanic/Engineer, under the supervision of the Senior Marine Mechanic/Engineer, will perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs to all systems categorized as Hull, Mechanical, Electrical(HME), and Hydraulic. The Junior Marine Mechanic/Engineer reports to the Boat Captain while underway.
The Junior Marine Mechanic/Engineer will report all discrepancies to the Senior Marine Mechanic/Engineer. The Junior Marine Mechanic/Engineer will be qualified to fill the Senior Marine Mechanic/Engineer position for Underway Mission Support, in the absence of the Senior Marine Mechanic/Engineer.
- US Coast Guard (USCG) Wiper license
- Must pass a pre-employment drug check
- Must pass background check
- Must possess the ability to work in any condition like bending, twisting, and standing to execute normal job duties.
