Office Manager

Community Access to the Arts

Full-Time (32 - 40 hours/week)

Salary Range $50,000 - $70,000

Community Access to the Arts (CATA) is a non-profit 501©3 with a mission to nurture and celebrate the creativity of people with disabilities through the arts. To support our organization's dynamic growth, we are looking for an Office Manager to join our top-notch team. The Office Manager, reporting to the Executive Director and the Administrative Director, will be a highly organized self-starter who will keep CATA's busy office humming. Though we are hoping for full-time we are flexible for the right candidate.

● Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure the office is operating smoothly

● Manage reception, answer phone calls, and greet visitors and CATA artists, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment

● Oversee clerical systems so that files are organized, complete, and secure

● Develop office policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented appropriately

● Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems

● Process payments and deposits, maintain financial records and serve as a liaison with the outside bookkeeper.

● Manage the general office Google calendar, and create and circulate weekly staff meeting agenda.

● Monitor and oversee facility needs, managing relationships with outside vendors including cleaners, landscapers, condo association, and handyperson.

● Manage office and kitchen supplies inventory and place orders as necessary

● Support Executive Director with meeting management and outside communications.

● Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, preparing materials for board of directors, and creating reports.


● Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required

● 6+ years' experience in office environment (would consider 3+ years)

● Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; Database, QuickBooks experience, and technological savvy is a plus

● Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize

● Zeal for detail and accuracy

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

● Ability to multi-task and to ask questions necessary to learn new processes

● Ability to relate to a diverse range of people, exercise cultural competence and inclusion, and commit to deeper professional development on racial and social justice and disability

● Must have reliable transportation to Great Barrington, MA. Local travel is required on occasion, to assist with errands and attend CATA events. Mileage reimbursement is available for qualifying trips.

● Must be fully vaccinated against Covid, in accordance with CATA's health and safety protocols


This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 and excellent, comprehensive benefits including:
