CAP is seeking a Dietary Specialist in our Early Childhood program. The Dietary Specialist provides daily meal preparation; maintains daily food production logs and the overall kitchen maintenance in accordance to the Early Childhood Development and Health Care Plans, and all local, state, and federal policies and procedures.
Associates' degree or certification in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition or Food Services with at least one year experience working in a food service environment preferred, or a high school diploma with 2 years experience working in a food service environment, a familiarity with NYS ServSafe requirements and/or willingness to obtain a certification on Food Safety. Must have reliable transportation and a clean, valid NYS driver's license.
This is a full-time, 10-month position. The pay rate is $13.68/hr, scheduled for 40 hrs/wk, 43 wks/yr.
