A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PET CARE SPECIALIST / KENNEL TECHNICIAN

In this animal care position, you spend a lot of time with the pets in our boarding facility. You are responsible for feeding and cleaning up after the animals in our care. Additionally, you supervise playgroups, which you enjoy because you get to interact and have fun with the pets! While tending to the pet enclosures and play areas, you are known for being thorough and noticing every little thing that needs to be cleaned. As a strong communicator, you relay accurate information to customers and team members. As needed, you update customer files. You enjoy interacting with animals every day and being trusted to provide top-notch care to our client's pets!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PET CARE SPECIALIST / KENNEL TECHNICIAN

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years of animal care experience
• Strong dog handling skills

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A PET CARE SPECIALIST / KENNEL TECHNICIAN

This full-time position works a varying day shift with weekend rotations. Work hours may be any combination of hours between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM with rotating weekend shifts.
