SUMMARY

The Manager of Product, Clinical Product Development is responsible for overseeing researching, identifying trends, needs, developing, and scaling solutions to the most important or persistent challenges facing Healthcare. Manager of Product, Clinical Product Development will be committed to working with Client and Banyan teams to produce products that empower providers with the most innovative information technology and services in the world to Transform Healthcare using current and future products.

The Manager of Product, Clinical Product Development will assist Banyan teams to design, develop, and implement solutions from product creation though end of life that enables Banyan to meet their business goals and maximize client satisfaction.

Location

Located in Omaha, NE preferred

If not in Omaha, NE, must be willing to travel regularly to headquarters in Omaha, NE and clients sites throughout the United States.

Primary Responsibilities

Client Outreach

The Manager of Product, Clinical Product Development will be a key member of our Solutions Team which meets regularly with our current and future clients' executive leadership teams. The Manager of Product, Clinical Solutions must be able to understand our clients current and future technology needs, communicate how our Banyan IT solutions can meet these needs, and then delivery a superior product back to the client. The Manager of Product, Clinical Solutions must be able to partner with other members of the Banyan Executive Solutions Team which includes peers from Clinical, Financial, Legal and Sales.

The Manager of Product, Clinical Product Development will also be integral in the Implementation of new client Go Lives by making sure the client understands what is happening and communicating with Banyan teams about the client's needs.

The Manager of Product, Clinical Product Development will also recommend clinical improvements based on client feedback and work closely with the Banyan QA team.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Partner closely with the Executive team, and Chief Executive Officer to institute product development processes and systems which ensure rapid and successful launches.
  • Work with all Banyan teams in all aspects related to the customer experience and journey when engaging with our products ensuring quality and technical excellence to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Establish cross-functional collaboration and new processes to increase efficiencies and client satisfactions
  • Participate/assist in the development and maintenance of Banyan's Quality Management System.
  • strategy with product and business direction, customer service strategy, growth strategies, and workforce strategies.
  • The Manager of Product, Clinical Solutions will keep abreast of, and provide regular insight to, the rapidly evolving technology and competitive marketplace to ensure Banyan is providing the right Clinical solutions for our customers and continues to grow Banyan's top line.

Administrative

As a key member of the Banyan team in arguably the most important customer-satisfaction related role in the business, it will be imperative to have regular executive management updates to ensure everyone is in-sync. Happy customers equate to repeat business, strong referrals, and service revenue.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Proven track record of playing a major role as a product leader with a portfolio of thoughtful and tactical products resulting in a successful client experience.
  • Experience with high-growth software and services companies. Additional experience with Healthcare technology a plus
  • Proven ability to develop analysis-based strategic plans to penetrate markets and develop successful products
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Keen interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Able to work independently, but not be opposed to reaching out for help.
  • Willing and able to have a flexible schedule to be able to do what is necessary to finish the task.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education:
    • Required: Minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science, marketing, engineering, or business Bachelor's degree in health sciences, business, marketing, statistics or other quantitative fields
    • Preferred: Advanced degree preferred but not required-MBA, MS Healthcare Management, or related degree. - equivalent education and demonstrated success required.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of hands-on Clinical and technical experience estimating and conceptualizing large scale data solutions
    • A strategic thinker - able to communicate effectively and influence other leaders
    • Committed to the timely project delivery, within budget and meeting revenue expectations
    • Analytical but focused on the end user
    • Proactive and entrepreneurial and behave with integrity and transparency
    • Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects/products from creation to delivery and launch
    • Adept at synthesizing various technologies and capabilities into the business in a way that advances our clients goals
    • Experience leading teams, demonstrating the ability to lead and deliver on various projects, perform well under pressure, and excel in providing reliable and clear communications
    • Solid understanding of software solutions and machine learning
    • Excellent communications skills. Able to explain complicated concepts in simple terms and partner effectively with peers.
    • Sufficient competence as a technologist to understand opportunities and constraints while also possessing the ability to understand the language of engineering

DETAILS

  • Hours of work: Full-Time Exempt 40+ hours, ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends
  • Location: Omaha, NE
  • Travel: As required including to customer sites and key industry organizations and/or conferences which can include overnight stays for extended periods of time.
    • Willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time. which may extend beyond a Monday -Friday work week.
  • Hospital Vendor Credentialing: Ability to pass background check, drug screen, complete education requirements, and requirements for Immunizations/TB Testing/Seasonal Influenza Vaccinations to meet 'Vendor Credentialing criteria set forth by our hospital clients
  • Driving: Ability to meet insurance minimum criteria to drive company vehicle, rental cars, drive to complete work duties

Special qualifications: Must be able to successfully complete established competencies for the position within designated probationary period
